Order
How can I order something from Skyjuwelier.nl?
Step 1: Select an item of your choice and click the "Add to Cart" button. If applicable, you must first select the correct size before continuing. The item has now been added to your shopping cart. You are now in the shopping cart. To proceed directly to the online checkout, click the "Checkout" button. You can also select "Continue Shopping" to view more items. You can always return to your shopping cart later by clicking "Shopping Cart" in the top right corner.
Step 2: Once you've finished shopping, go to your shopping cart and click "Checkout" to proceed to the online checkout. Here, you can create your account or log in if you already have one by logging in as a "Returning Customer." In your account, you'll be asked for information such as your address, phone number, and email address. You won't need to enter this information again when you log in later. While you're at the checkout, your internet connection is secure.
Step 3: You then choose a payment method. More information about the different payment options can be found elsewhere on the website. You can choose to pick up your order yourself or have it shipped. Delivery is only possible to an address in the Netherlands. You can also have your order delivered to a different address. Select the checkbox next to "Ship to a different address?" This way, you can surprise someone with a beautiful gift. Sky Juwelier charges €4.95 for shipping.
Step 4: Review your order and delivery details before continuing. Click "Place Order" to submit it. You will then be taken to the secure payment screen to pay for your order.
What should I do once I have placed an order?
Sky Juwelier will process your order once your payment has been received. You will receive two emails from us: the first confirms your order. Afterward, you will receive a second email from us with your payment. Once payment has been received, the order will be processed further. Upon receipt of your order and payment, Sky Juwelier will immediately begin working to process your order quickly and correctly.
Will I receive confirmation of my order?
Once we have packed and shipped your order, you will receive an email from us with a Track & Trace code from PostNL parcel service, which you can use to track the delivery status of your order (if your order has a value of more than €25).
How do I know if the payment was successful?
Every completed order will be confirmed by email with an order confirmation. After payment, you will also receive an email with payment confirmation. Therefore, it is important to enter your email address correctly! The order confirmation email is not proof of payment, but indicates that the order process has been completed successfully and that we have received the order. Sky Juwelier reserves the right to refuse orders or request additional information.
What if I have a problem during payment?
If you're unable to proceed with payment even though you've already added the product to your shopping cart and created an account, we recommend clearing your browser history (see the top right corner of your internet browser, "History," "Clear History"). You can then add the product to your shopping cart again and proceed with payment.
What if a product is sold out?
An item may unexpectedly be sold out. We will, of course, try to have the item you want back in stock as soon as possible, if it's still available. Feel free to contact us.
Are the discounted products also available in the store?
Of course, the discount on the website applies to the same products in the store. In the store, there are sometimes items that are not available online, or there is a special in-store discount on certain items.
Can I also order from abroad?
Yes, it is possible to order a Sky Juwelier product abroad.
Cancel/change
Is it possible to cancel an order?
This can be done by sending an email to info@skyjuwelier.nl stating your name, order number and order date.
Is it possible to change an order?
You can do this by emailing info@skyjuwelier.nl with your name, order number, and order date. Please clearly indicate the nature of the change.
Delivery & Shipping
What is the delivery time of an order?
If a product is in stock in our warehouse, the delivery time is 1 to 2 business days. For a product that is not immediately in stock, please contact our branch by phone or email.
What are the shipping costs?
Is it possible to pick up my order at the store?
Yes, this is possible. Check the website for opening hours.
Can I also track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track and trace code by email.
How will my package be shipped?
Your package will be securely packaged and delivered to the postal service. From that point on, the postal service will handle shipping and delivery.
What if I'm not home when the order is delivered?
If you're not home, your order will be delivered to your neighbors. You'll receive a confirmation card in your mailbox. If your neighbors aren't home either, the postal company will take your order, and you can collect it from a nearby collection point.
What should I do if my order is incorrect?
Please contact Sky Juwelier as soon as possible. You can do this by phone and/or email.
What should I do when my order is delivered?
When the package containing your order arrives, always check the packaging. If the package is severely damaged and you have concerns, we advise you not to sign for receipt. The package will then be returned, and we will assess its status. Signing for receipt signifies that you have received the package in good order. If it later turns out that products are damaged or missing due to the damaged package, we are unfortunately not liable.
Can my order be packaged?
That's certainly possible! Simply indicate during the checkout process that you'd like your order gift-wrapped. Our webshop team will ensure your order arrives in the most beautiful gift packaging.
Exchanges & Returns
Is it possible to return a product?
You have 14 days after we have shipped your order to cancel the agreement and inform us of this.
Is it possible to exchange a product?
Yes, this is possible. The product must be returned in the same condition as when it was purchased.
How can I return a product?
You can return the item to our store or send it back to us via a postal company.
When returning items, you bear both the costs and the risk of shipping. Please return the items you wish to return or exchange in a single shipment to ensure prompt processing. Unidentifiable returns will be returned to sender whenever possible.
Please note: You are responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs.
How long does it take to get my money back?
After we receive your return, the amount will be immediately refunded to the bank account/credit card used to place the order. This may take 5-10 business days.

What are quality marks?
Dutch law requires that all gold and silver jewelry sold in the country bear an official Dutch hallmark. This is legal protection, as the 1986 Hallmarking Act guarantees that an item bearing legally established hallmarks contains the correct platinum, gold, or silver content.
Every platinum, gold, or silver object traded in the Netherlands must bear a valid hallmark. Furthermore, the terms platinum, gold, silver, and precious metal may not be used for objects that do not meet the lowest legal fineness.

Do you also buy old gold and silver?
Yes. We also buy your gold and silver. You'll always receive cash for your old jewelry. You can also exchange your old jewelry if you prefer. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by or call us.
Do you also repair jewelry?
Yes. We specialize in jewelry repairs. Thanks to our years of experience (over 50 years) as a goldsmith, we can repair virtually anything. We do this ourselves, in our shop. Because we carry out the repairs ourselves, you never have to wait long for your jewelry. Small repairs are often completed the same day. For larger repairs, you often have to wait no longer than one business day.
Do you also engrave jewelry?
Yes, we also engrave jewelry.
How do I know my ring size?
A handy way to calculate your finger circumference is to wrap a piece of ribbon or string around it and measure the circumference in millimeters with a measuring tape. Make sure you don't pull the ribbon or string too tight, but keep it slightly loose.
If you do not get a standard size as indicated in a ring size table when measuring the number of millimeters, then choose the nearest (larger) size.
You can also always come by and we will measure your size exactly for you.
How do I know my wrist size?
Your wrist size is not the same as your bracelet size; to find your bracelet size, add a few centimeters to your wrist size.
To do this, use the table below:
Fit comfort Bracelet size
- Tight bracelet Wrist size + 1.5 cm
- Medium loose bracelet Wrist size + 2 cm
- Loose bracelet Wrist size + 3 cm
Your bracelet will fit most comfortably if it's 2.5 cm wider than your wrist. Measure the circumference of your wrist (just above the knuckle, as seen from your fingers) and add 2.5 cm.
An example:
– Your wrist circumference (just above the knuckle as seen from the fingers) = 16.5 cm.
- Add 2½ cm.
- Your bracelet size is 19 cm.

Measuring your wrist size
Determining your wrist size is easy with a piece of string or a measuring tape. Wrap a measuring tape around your wrist (on the wrist bone), not too tightly, but snugly all the way around. Then read the measurement from the measuring tape. If you don't have a measuring tape, wrap a piece of string around your wrist in the same way. Mark a line on the string where it completely encircles your wrist. Then place the string next to a ruler and read the measurement.
Tip! It's even easier to measure a well-fitting bracelet and stick to that length.
Watches
Yes. We specialize in watch repairs. We have over 50 years of experience in watch repair. For almost all types of repairs, restorations, and/or advice on your precious watch, you can contact Sky Juwelier. We do this ourselves, in our shop. Because we carry out the repairs ourselves, you never have to wait long for your watch. We also have most parts in stock. Small repairs can often be done while you wait. For larger repairs, you usually won't have to wait longer than a few business days.
Do you also replace batteries?
Yes, we replace batteries starting at just €4.99.
How can I best maintain my watch?
Always wind a mechanical watch clockwise. Make sure to remove the watch from your wrist to prevent damage to the mechanism. Avoid contact with chemicals and exposure to strong impacts and shocks, even if your watch is shock-resistant. We also advise against exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes.
If you regularly expose your watch to water, we recommend having it checked for water resistance annually. Note: Always ensure the screw/crown remains closed! See the instructions under "Water Resistance" to see to what extent you can expose your watch to water. If water or condensation does get inside your watch, come to one of our stores to have it checked, even if the movement is still working. Moisture causes rust, and rust can seriously damage your watch. If the crystal of your watch breaks or cracks, have it replaced. You can do this at one of our stores. If your watch's battery is dead, we recommend replacing it immediately. Dead batteries can leak, which is very damaging to the movement. We recommend bringing your watch, warranty card, and receipt to one of our stores to have it checked. Our staff will be happy to assist you.
Read the instructions carefully and leave the repair of your watch to an expert!
How do you maintain a steel watch strap? Metal straps can be gently washed with water. If the strap is very dirty, you can use a soft toothbrush with some soap and water to scrub away the dirt. Then rinse it thoroughly with water and dry gently with a soft cloth. If your watch is not waterproof, make sure no water gets inside. The watch case can be gently wiped clean with a damp soft cloth and then dried.
How do you care for a leather watch strap? Leather straps should be worn a little looser in the summer, as they absorb sweat. When the strap is worn tightly around the wrist, air can't get under it, which can also cause a rash. If the strap does get damp from sweating, wipe it dry with a soft cloth. To enjoy your leather strap for longer, we recommend spraying it with a colorless leather spray to keep it looking good longer.
Does my watch need servicing? A watch is similar to a car; besides fuel, maintenance is also necessary to keep it running smoothly. Especially for more expensive watches, we recommend sending it to a certified watchmaker for servicing. We offer this service, of course. The watch will be completely disassembled, lubricated, oiled, and parts replaced where necessary. Naturally, the watch will also be fitted with a new battery. We're happy to advise you on this.
